The XR-500D series is specifically designed for detecting contaminants inside small packaged products. Metal and non-metal impurities including ferrous, non-ferrous, stainless steel, glass, ceramic, stone, bones, hard rubber, and hard plastic are detectable, even for products wrapped in aluminum foil or metallised film. The foreign object is detectable by its density; the greater the density, the easier it is found.
